There are indeed a lot of advantages with testing automation. For one thing, the whole testing procedure is made significantly faster. After all, you do not have to perform manual software testing anymore, which usually requires you to start from the very beginning or the very first step of the test every single time you want to try something new with the program you are developing. With an automated forex robot you no longer have to go back to square one every time so you are able to pick up the pace.
Moreover, the software is a program in every essence. As efficient as a human tester can be, fatigue can always be a factor to consider here. With the software, there would be no fatigue to worry about in the first place. And, there would not be too many people involved in the testing process because all that needs to be done here is to run the software. Thus, testing can be done by one or two software testers and this beats hiring costs as well.
More importantly, because the test is automated, then there would be a degree of standardization all throughout. This means the test is able to produce a higher degree when it comes to both validity and reliability. This is especially true due to the fact human factor is taken out of the equation. As mentioned above, fatigue can be influential in the performance of any human tester. There is also the fact that human testers can be a bit biased and these biases can alter the perception and interpretation of results at times. Let us face it - if you were both the software developer and the tester, wouldn't you want your program to pass this standard test? There really is no room for biases here when you are out for quality.
